PROJECT: – Utthan Skills Promotion Association (USPA)

 

Founded in 2008 by Mr. Satendra Singh, the Samiti’s primary mission is economic acceleration in emerging economies through large-scale initiatives in job creation and skill development. To achieve this the Utthan Samiti has launched five high impact Initiatives in India, with the goal of creating and filling 1 Lacs jobs in the next 5 years. For job creation, Utthan Samiti established the Skills Promotion Association (USPA) in 2016. SDN has built a strong network with 100 colleges, 500 mentors and 200 faculty in India that continue to inspire, educate and support thousands of emerging and practicing entrepreneurs. And also, for job fulfilment Skills Promotion Association (USPA) supports multiple college, high school and employer initiatives for entry level mid-skill jobs.

 

The Utthan Samiti will impart training to youth and unemployed youth from rural areas in various courses under skill development program and will also manage their employment. Keeping this in mind, Utthan Skill Development Centre is going to open in the Village- Chatain Kala, Tehsil- Shah Ganj, Dist. – Jaunpur-U.P.

With the opening of this center, training will be provided to around 1600 youth from this entire tehsil along with this village under the skill development scheme, and thus they will be helped in getting employment. Utthan is setting up a Skill Development Centre under this scheme. Whose construction work has started and it will be ready in the next about one year.

Skill Development Courses – Many institutions across the nation are engaged in highly specialized academic and industry training programs to promote skills among its students and youth, with a greater emphasis on the improvement of employment opportunities and research activities.

The Central Government initiative to launch a multi-tiered campaign to promote skill development training programs across the various states has led to the conception and operation of the National Skill Development Mission in 2015. This important body approves and governs over such constructive initiatives targeting especially the student body and professionals in expanding their understanding and opening new career opportunities for them.

Apart from such unique platforms, the top pioneer institutions and universities across the nation, which include the AIIMs, IIMs, IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISC, IIST etc., also host a massive number of workshops, each year, either by the department or in partnership with the core companies. A brief glimpse into the current themes and underlying programs will give the future explorers a better idea about the scope and stretch of such platforms.

 

The main goal is to create opportunities, space and scope for the development of the talents of the Indian youth and to develop more of those sectors which have already been put under skill development for the last so many years and also to identify new sectors for skill development.

 

The new program aims at providing training and skill development to 1 Lacs youth of our country by 2024, covering each and every village. Various schemes are also proposed to achieve this objective. The emphasis is to skill the youths in such a way so that they get employment and also improve entrepreneurship.
